This gives you a chance to visit Mogok, which is also known as The Valley of Rubies. It takes you to the Mogok Gem Mines to see the mining process. You will also have the opportunity of buying genuine gemstones of various quality at the local gem market.

You may decide on which places to visit on any of the days you are in the respective destinations. Your guide will recommend the best sites to see based on your specific preferences and available time.
- Hotels mentioned in the program can only be confirmed only after receiving payment and therefore are subject to change depending on availability. We will first inform you if any hotel mentioned is not available and only with your approval will we proceed with booking an alternate hotel.

Mandalay – Mogok by Private Vehicle (Driving Hours – 7)

- Our tour representative will pick you at the airport or hotel & drive you to Mogok.
- Late afternoon, arrive at Mogok & transfer to the hotel.
- Overnight in Mogok.
Day 2
Mogok
Burmese Rubies
- After breakfast, sightseeing in and around Mogok:
i. The Ruby Mines (you can see the entire process of production (from extraction, washing, sorting, cutting and polishing)
ii. Visit the local gem market
iii. Visit famous ruby & sapphire mines
iv. Paung Dar U Pagoda
v. Visit the colorful open-air market which includes a gathering of gem merchants
- Overnight in Mogok.
Day 3
Mogok – Mandalay (Driving Hours – 7)
- After breakfast, continue sightseeing in Mogok .
- Afternoon, drive back to Mandalay.
- Evening arrive at Mandalay.
